Junior Strong/Intermediate BigData Engineer (INACTIVE)

The project is part of the Business Intelligence and Data Mart team, focusing on data analytics, data migration, and data consistency. The work involves various types of engagements, including the discovery phase of project initiation and progressing through to production release. The funded projects are individual but part of a unified data stream.

The mission is to handle new data requests from the Data Portfolio Management team, conduct data analysis, and gather technical requirements from Data Leads, Architects, and Data Stewards. These requirements are then translated into JIRA descriptions or MDDS (technical requirements) and delivered through to production.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams on data requirements and provide technical solutions

• Work on data ingestion, processing, and ensuring data quality in Azure Synapse

• Be involved in project delivery from conception through to production

• Create technical documentation and ensure alignment with business goals

• Engage with both internal teams and customers to advise on best practices
