Data Scientist/ Machine Learning Engineer

We are Aida Recruitment, a technology and artificial intelligence-based employee search. For our client, we are looking for a  Data Scientist/ Machine Learning Engineer.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a data science or ML engineering role with production-level deployments

• Strong proficiency in Python and key libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)

• Solid grasp of classical ML models: Random Forests, XGBoost, regression/classification

• Experience designing and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines using Apache Airflow and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Skilled in data ingestion via web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy) and API integration

• Hands-on with RAG pipelines and vector databases (e.g., Weaviate)

• Background in NLP tasks such as named entity recognition (NER) and sentiment analysis (spaCy, NLTK)

• Proficient in model validation (cross-validation, A/B testing)

• Experience working with data lakes and warehouses

• Competent in data visualization using matplotlib, Plotly, or similar tools

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving abilities with an experimental mindset

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Comfortable working in a flexible, dynamic environment

️ Responsibilities

• Design and implement ML systems: classification, regression, time-series, and LLM-based applications (AI agents, RAG, summarization, QA)

• Build and manage ETL pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow

• Conduct in-depth data analysis, cleaning, and validation

• Manage vector databases and contribute to robust RAG pipelines

• Prototype and deploy AI-powered tools, including conversational and summarization interfaces

• Apply advanced NLP techniques (NER, sentiment analysis) using tools like spaCy and NLTK

• Create insightful visualizations and dashboards
